We also collect information about your use of the Platform — which features you use, what searches you run, and how you interact with content. We do not collect sensitive personal information such as passport numbers, financial account details, or visa documents.
We use your information to provide and personalise the Platform — to match you to relevant schools and scholarships, to remember your preferences, and to save your application tracker data. We use your email address to send account-related communications and, if you opt in, platform updates. We use aggregated, anonymised usage data to improve the Platform.
Your account data is stored in Supabase, a secure cloud database provider, on servers located in the United States. Profile data and application tracking data are associated with your account and retained for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your data at any time by emailing consultingestel@gmail.com.
We use the following third-party services: Supabase for database storage, Stripe for payment processing, Anthropic API for AI-powered features, and Vercel for hosting. Each of these providers has their own privacy policy governing their handling of data. We do not sell your personal data to any third party.
Payment processing is handled entirely by Stripe. Estel does not store or have access to your credit card numbers or full payment details. Stripe is PCI-DSS compliant. You may review Stripe's privacy policy at stripe.com/privacy.
We use cookies to maintain your login session and remember your preferences. We do not use advertising cookies or tracking cookies. You may disable cookies in your browser settings, but this will affect Platform functionality.
You have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, to correct inaccurate data, to request deletion of your data, and to withdraw consent for data processing. To exercise any of these rights, contact consultingestel@gmail.com. We will respond within 30 days.
The Platform is not intended for users under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 16. If we become aware that we have collected data from a user under 16, we will delete it promptly.
Estel serves users globally. By using the Platform, you consent to your data being processed and stored in the United States. We take reasonable steps to ensure your data is protected in accordance with this Privacy Policy regardless of where you are located.
